Attached here is a very useful guidelines for patients when they arrive on the scene. This is a great share for any newly diagnosed patient. These guidelines are from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). NCCN Guidelines for Patients - Prostate Cancer
You can download a PDF version here as well. Just my commentary: This is the best put together patient facing brochure I have see to date. But it cannot be assumed that patients will understand it soon after diagnosis of prostate cancer. I remember a lot of this came to me in spurts. I commonly get asked by a newly diagnosed patient what is good reading and they get this one from me. Tony

While that - Version 1.2013 - is the most current patient guideline, NCCN has just updated its doctor guideline to Version 1.2014. One can download it from this link. There are a few very good changes from the previous version, imho.

Agreed Allen, But the issue for some will be that they need a login at the NCCN site to view the physician guidelines. Let me see if I can find a released version. You can download the PDF version and post it here but it has to be below 1mb until I pay a subscription for larger storage capacity.
