A Farewell to Bob Parsons I am sad to report that Bob Parsons has finally lost his battle with prostate cancer. Bob died this morning but his spirit as one of the very best prostate cancer advocates lives on. Bob was always a friend to me and he always questioned the PCa industry long before others did. He lived 13 years with advanced disease. He was diagnosed with all samples positive at the age of 52. I am saddened to tears but I know he's in a better place. Bob started posted early on after his diagnosis on many forums. He joked about being kicked off of most of them. It wasn’t because he was rude but rather questioning the doctors and the system and business of prostate cancer. But he contributed mightily when he came to HealingWell.com while I was still moderating the prostate cancer forum. He came along with some other great advocates ~ David Emerson, Terry Herbert, Chuck Maack, Ralph Valle, etc. and he came just like them ~ to help others. It was an honor to meet these guys. And it was an honor to get to know Bob, David and Terry before their too early departures. Robert Parsons ~ December 1, 1950 ~ July 13, 2015 His story told by him at Yana: www.yananow.org/display_story.php?id=872RIP zufus! Neutron Bob!
