"Starting chemotherapy along with hormone therapy in men with newly diagnosed hormone-sensitive prostate cancer improved overall survival (OS) by more than 13 months in comparison with hormone therapy alone, a phase III study found (Abstract LBA2). The survival benefit was even greater in men with high-volume disease."
