This year in Chicago the highlight for prostate cancer will be the session on the CHAARTED trial that seems to indicate that for guys with metastatic diagnosis that earlier chemotherapy is better than later chemotherapy ~ using docetaxel and prednisone.
This annual event will usually have a few new announcements on PCa and there year is no different. Expect follow up on S1216 (Yours truly is in the et al) and Enzalutamide being used and released for early pre-chemotherapy settings.
Dr. David Quinn, from the University of Southern California has also agreed to join us here when he can and will provide some excellent insight into research. Dr. Quinn typically updates after each ASCO as he has here.
