These articles are from JAMA and discuss early use of chemotherapy in non-metastatic men. These are very interesting contrasting viewpoints. The Graff document has a very nice table of the trials used. Clearly the CHAARTED trial showed inconclusive benefit for low volume metastatic disease but the STAMPEDE trial and RTOG-0521 showed benefit to early use of chemotherapy in low volume metastatic and non-metastatic high risk cases.
