This Wednesday, Tall Allen and I are among other advocates answering questions like:
"How much treatment is too much treatment?
Is my cancer spreading or is it benign?
How do I know my doctor is right?
How can I avoid some of the side effects of my treatment?
As the proper roles of active surveillance and watchful waiting become better defined for men with lower risk forms of prostate cancer and the risks from over-treatment become more evident, there are questions every patient faces in trying to decide what is important in managing their individual care and how to place a "value" on the different "things" that they seek.
