Proton Delivery Devices Getting Smaller

I've been reading a lot about Proton Beam Radiation Therapy (PBRT) devices will become clinical devices.  Currently PBRT centers are huge and very expensive.  Not sure what the impact will be at those centers, nor what the major differences will be on efficacy if any, but this news is about one of the first clinical designs to go into production.  It will be interesting to see how PBRT in the clinic will cost.
