Under the direction of the AUA I have been taking a couple Cochrane Collaboration online learning courses. These are terrific courses but they are extensive. I knew most of the stuff through SWOG but I thought I would share this free course: Understanding Evidence-based Healthcare: A Foundation for ActionAgain this course took me a few days to complete. It is serious training with free documentation through out. I think it is excellent educational material if one wants to interact with the physician community on projects. The need for evidence based healthcare is huge and the issues with it are plenty. This course explains it all. You will know more about the medical industry once you complete this course.

Thanks for pointing this out, Tony. I am working to set up a PCa support group in our remote corner of Michigan's UP. The amount and quality of information provided to the newly diagnosed guys up here is all-but nonexistent and the few doctors (2 med oncs and 2 uros) are far from supportive.
I spent nine months educating myself before settling on a primary treatment plan, but too many guys up here are just not willing or able to do that kind of online research.
I think this course will help as I get the word out in hopes of helping these guys up here.
Happy New Year! Walt
